How we make our slate house numbers:
The artwork is created on a computer by one of our designers and a vinyl film is produced. The slate is covered with the vinyl film to protect it during the process. This allows allows the sand blasting process to etch your house number without damaging the rest of the plate. The sign is then sandblasted, by hand, by one of our experienced craftspeople, who then proceed to hand paint the number in your chosen colour. When the plate is fully dry, the mask is removed and the sign is cleaned and made ready for dispatch. Finally the sign undergoes our rigorous quality control procedure and is signed off ready for delivery.
